This item is worth the money. Well done all around it...Not very difficult to ensamble although I encountered some difficulty due to one of the pieces being mislabeled. I am very happy with my purchase.

As I am a wary shopper about buying "cheap" things, after reading the reviews I decided to try it. My wife really likes it and fits perfectly for what she wants to use it for, which is a little extra cabinet top space and some storage capacity.

The Unit tuned out to be very sturdy, not like some wobbly put together yourself furniture. There were a couple of problems putting it together, but we took our time and finished in about an hour or so. The problems were some of the predrilled drawer holes did not line up well if at all, but I managed to get the screws in without splitting the wood. Also 2 pieces were mislabeled. After scratching my head for 2 or 3 minutes, I managed to figure it out. Noteably they were pieces D and G. Swapped them around and the main frame went right on together. Take your time with the drawer and ensure you have all the edges flush before putting the screws in or else your drawer will look a little lop sided. Hard to see, but I am the very particular type. Overall I would say that I am 80% satisfied with the way it went together.

It ended up being a really nice piece and is solid for the price. Wife says it is perfect. With only the 2 front wheels locking, the unit can be pushed or bumped around easily, cause the unlocked rear wheels allow the front ones to still rotate. I think this can be fixed with locking casters on the rear. Unit was packaged well, and no noticeable damage when the box was opened. We are happy with it.

We love it, it's even sturdier than I expected for the price. Nice solid wood. Easy to put together. The only thing I don't really like is the drop leaf, things get caught but that is to be expected because of the seam. I love it, would purchase it again!

The web site was easy to use and the price seemed too good to be true.[...] as a 61 year old with severe arthritis I was quite intimidated by the huge, heavy box. It was packed meticulously with every part present and labeled.I decided to try my hand and [...]three hours later(It would take far less time for someone not handicapped) I had a beautiful kitchen cart thats quality was far beyond what I expected. There was a hairline crack on a lower side molding that I noticed after it was together and I can't be sure that I didn't do it during assembly. The drawer is a little high and sticks slightly, but is really not a problem. I just can't believe how much storage it has and the wood top is large enough to hold my Kitchen Aid Stand mixer with plenty of work space left. Would definitely recommend this cart and this site.

If you were planning to drink a glass of wine once you finished putting your island together, drink it first before you start. I had a lot of trouble getting it together; it looked like three parts were mislabeled. I ended up cracking a piece of the wood trying to get the parts to fit. All that being said, I love my island! It's just the right size for my kitchen space (without the towel holder) and provided much needed space for storage and work. All in all, I would purchase this again but I think I would get someone else to put it together!
