Description

      Preparing house for eventual sale and needed an island that fit the size of our kitchen. This was perfect. Good material, good construction and looks more expensive than it cost. I removed the cutting block--looks better without it. Great storage for wine and kitchen tools.

      A bit time consuming to assemble -takes 2 people to hold and install in certain steps. It looks great in our kitchen and adds all of the extras we were looking for storage, workspace,etc... We really feel it is good value for the cost.

      This island is great for extra counter space, which we desperately needed. It also looks very nice and is sturdy. However, the top is supposed to be stainless steel and magnets stick to it. Magnets don't stick to stainless steel. I have had a hard time finding a way to clean it. Everything leaves stains and marks that don't go away. Stainless steel cleaners don't work. The knife box is a little cheesy, the knives flop around and don't stay stationery. It was difficult to put together as some of the pieces didn't fit properly. The middle drawer doesn't open and close smoothly, you have to struggle with it. And they only sent us one locking wheel, so, if you push on it, it will move. We did leave out the wine holders and I store cookie sheets and trays there, which is more convenient for us. I would have gladly paid $100.00 more for a little better quality, but, for the price it is very useful. I would recommend it if you couldn't afford to pay more.

        Easy to put together, beautiful piece. Not happy that the island top has a massive dent in it. I called Netshops, they indicated that I needed to speak to the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer, they said it was Netshops responsibility. Needless to say, neither company is budging and I have a dented piece of furniture!

          It arrived earlier than stated and just in time for Christmas. Took us a while to put it together but we love the end results. We got in cherry red so now, we are updating our cabinets to match. It is an excellent buy with the quality and everyone loves it as well.
