The wood is solid, I feel confident in the construction, having 7+ years of experience as a buyer for high end, contemporary furniture retailers. I did need a 2nd person to help me put it together, only because it would have been difficult to assemble large pieces without someone to hold things in place for me. Otherwise, the assembly is simpple, and instructions easy to follow. All thats required is a phillips head. But for the most part, you use the allen wrench included with the hardware. Extra screws are included in case you lose one. All pieces fit properly, no gaps or issues. The casters do not snap into the base, so they will fall out if you lift the product too high. But they are certainly not going to concern me as long as I keep the cart on its feet. It just was annoying during assembly to have to keep putting them back into the legs. The casters are sturdy and decent sized, and do lock properly. I find the drawer pulls to be very nice looking, and quality. The drawers have a white interior bottom, which is nice. They glide nicely and have the stops to keep them from pulling out too far. I'm very happy with the design, I'm ecstatic about the appearance and feel very happy about what I got for the price. A fantastic deal,[...]. I did lots of research on kitchen carts and this was the best deal and my favorite design. I like contemporary but not stark.

If only the drawers worked as well as the cart looks, it would be worth it. But they stick, stop, jam and just act like cheap, cardboard drawers in an otherwise quality piece of furniture. How much more would real drawer hardware have cost, in a cart that was over [$] The drawers themselves are solid, it's just the very cheap, lightweight slides that spoil the function.

      2 of the 4 casters were not usable due to a crushed plastic female part on one leg and inability to hold the male part on another leg. I found the assembly directions a bit confusing regarding the correct direction of each part. Otherwise, the table is sturdy and looks beautiful!
