The Espresso Portable Kitchen Cart with Optional Stools is constructed of a sturdy wood base with an espresso finish. Its frame is accented with a brushed stainless steel top. This kitchen cart features two separate cabinet storage areas with raised-panel doors and 1 adjustable shelf each. In addition, this cart offers two utility drawers, a towel bar, and a knife rack for easy access during food preparation. This Espresso cart comes complete with a steel drop-leaf breakfast bar, which will add an additional 11.75 inches of working space to the top surface. Also included are both matching wood and silver metal knobs, as well as matching stationary feet and industrial locking casters, so you can decide what best works for your space.
Note: Towel bar and knife rack cannot be switched to opposing sides of kitchen cart. The drill patterns used to secure these two parts are different, and do not allow them to be interchanged.

storage space, which this kitchen cart doesn't have. This means more open storage space for you! You'll also find easier assembly steps. Similar carts need up to three people for assembly, which takes much longer than with the Espresso. And, you'll love the real wood. No MDF press board here! Firstly I want to say that it is a very nice cart. The wheels roll smoothly on my hardwood floor and do not seem like they will scratch. There are several vertical positions to place the cabinet shelves to suit your preferences. However, the drawers are little shallow.[...] The build quality of the product is so-so. I can tell that the machine tolerances used to drill holes and cut lengths are not as tight as they should be. This results in things not aligning the way the should. For example the hinges used to operate the stand for the extended counter top do not rotate smoothly due to pilot holes that were drilled slightly too far to one side. The stainless steel counter top came with two scratches about 2 inches in length despite having a plastic protective coating. The cabinet doors are uneven in length (the two doors that swing open to the left are slightly larger than the two doors that swing open to the right). This results in a small gap and the right doors (on both cabinets) resting about 3/16" lower than the ones on the left. And finally the drawers: although the tracks are adjustable to some degree, I am still unable to get them to align horizontally and the one on the left hits something on the top so it does not operate smoothly.I am an engineer and have some experience tweaking things to make them work and I believe that some of these issues are beyond the average person's ability and desire to fix. Having said that, these are all minor enough flaws that I am willing to accept.I would still recommend this cart for the price and because the wood looks very nice and it has a decent amount of storage space and very flexible counter space. I would hope that other deliveries do not have the same issues as mine and that I just got a rare bad set.

Took 6 hrs. to put together and that is by someone who is very mechanical. Some predrilled holes were not lining up. Stainless steel top has waves in it and it is not very sturdy. Would not be good if you have people who were rough with it. Ok if people will be careful with it.

I purchased this cart to add storage and food prep area to our kitchen. I chose this particular cart because it is made with real wood, not particle board. The cart shipped quickly and arrived undamaged. The packaging was exceptional. I struggled somewhat with assembly because the instructions are vague with small print, and the predrilled holes were often off center, missing, or drilled too large. Consequently, assembly took 4.5 hours. The finished product is an attractive addition to our kitchen. The wood finish looks nice, and it has a very sturdy stainless steel top. The hardware that came with the cart is also very good quality. The storage drawers and cabinets are made with thin wood, so this cart will be used to store lighter items. I like the additional folding leaf, which will be nice when we need a larger prep area. The cart that was delivered to my home looks just like the one pictured on the website. I think that assembly requires skill beyond the beginner level.

Just put it together and some things are a bit cheap on it. The hex screws stripped out or were tough to get I and one of the drawers does not line up. If you buy this use wood glue for sure that is what I had to do for some parts. Overall it looks nice but when you put it together it is not the highest quality for the money. Took under 2.5 hours to assemble, will see how we'll they do getting the pieces i need to replace to me.

I really like having the ability to choose either casters or feet and the finish of the knobs. I had thought the shelves would be too shallow (was looking for somthing a little larger), but it's definitely capacious. Perhaps would have liked slightly deeper drawers, but these are really fine. Took quite a while to assemble, but the directions were great and all the pieces were there.

Fits our needs perfectly. Excellent use of space and very versatile with the fold-up table top. I love it! When we move we might use it in a different room if there is plenty of cabinet space so the choice of casters or feet may come in to play.
