Solid construction and nice hinges handles and slides. Some particle board with veneer panels. Sturdy top. Instructions were not accurate looks like they pasted together content from other similar products and had some mistakes. Photos show 3 screws on slide rails when only 2 were provided and stuff like that.

This cart holds alot more than it looked like it would. It is sturdy and really good looking. I haven't used the breakfast bar yet-but it is very easy to set and stays up-no problem. It is really more of a cart than a kitchen island, but was exactly what I wanted and needed.
