Including everything you need to make it work for you, the Randall Portable Kitchen Island with Optional Stools makes a smart and stylish addition to your kitchen. The stainless steel top is an ideal surface for food preparation because it's non-porous, durable, and easy to clean. A drop leaf will add an additional 12 inches of working space to the countertop, and it's also convenient for use as a breakfast bar or a buffet. The leaf is supported by a swing-out arm so it doesn't get in the way of foot space, and the backside of the cart is fully finished so it always looks great from every angle. Included with your purchase is your choice of white-finished wood or stainless steel hardware. You decide which looks best in your kitchen. Really quick shipping! Things were packaged well, the cart went together smoothy and I thought it was a fair price for the quality. I have not see a better kitchen cart on ANY website. I needed a place roll out dough (I have tile counter tops...ugh) and store my baking supplies. With the fold-down stainless top, it will be perfect for that application! I would not hesitate to order from Hayneedle again. They have good stuff! I love my new cart!!!

last drawer to insert but didn't fit at all. have tried every way to figure out but determined missized parts. now all assemble not going to go thru hassle to return will try to find alternative drawer. so close.

While I am not mechanically inclined, I found this project easy to put together. Only issue was it should have come in two boxes. 90lbs is a lot to manuever.

The kitchen island came delivered well packaged and intact. The materials were okay but the printed directions and indications of drill holes were way off and the island needed a lot of re-engineering to have the drawers fit and the doors fit. There was only one extra plastic hinge and two broke when I was assembling it so I had to hand carve a plastic hinge replica from wood to make the piece work. The directions looked okay at first glance but very important aspects were missing from the isometric drawings provided. All in all this is a badly made furniture kit.

I just received this product and put it together by myself - it took 4 hours. I did put one part backwards and the allen wrench provided did not work well, luckily I had one that worked great. I recommend having someone to help you - it will go faster.
The cart looks great and is perfect in our kitchen. I have been looking for a cart for a long time and this is everything I needed. Plus it looks great!
