An 18 x 18-inch hardwood butcher block top provides the perfect place for cutting and chopping. Kitchen essentials have a place in the three slide-out drawers, and a bin below features room for a standard 10-gallon trash can (not included). Inner trash bin compartment is 19.875H x 11W x 15.25 D inches.  The Rubbermaid Commercial bin #2957 fits beautify inside.  Simply open up and drop food scraps and packaging into the bin. Three pantry shelves and a plastic flip-out paper towel holder in the rear keep important items handy, while hidden casters makes mobility virtually effortless.

I couldn’t have asked for a better product than the Holden Hidden Trash Bin with Pantry. I was wanting something to conceal our trash in, and which would, also, offer some counter space. This has that and offers shelf space in back for those harder items to find that I usually put into my other pantry and cupboards. I was pleased to find out that a regular-sized kitchen trash can will fit in it, (even a round one such as I had). It really adds to my kitchen and I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a pantry for the same reason I was.

This product is rather sturdy and does the trick once assembled. After opening the box, the pieces can be intimidating, but with some time and patience it assembles well. The paper towel holder is very cheaply made and flimsy. I did not bother installing it. The trash bin is a bit too small to hold your average kitchen trash can, but with a little searching you can easily find one small enough and any home goods retailer. That does result in having to take out the trash more often though. The shelves on the back are the perfect size for spices or extra medicine bottles. It's best if it leans against a wall though since the shelves are open so that those are not visible. I have my microwave on top of the unit. Mine fits perfectly but is not one of the larger units out there, so measure beforehand. [...]

Contacted Customer Service regarding dissatisfaction with product. Asked about return. Was told its your problem now. Too heavy to ship back. Parts broken and missing. Very upset. Trying to get my money back.

      I love the look in my small kitchen. Hides the trash can and my microwave fits on top.
      Assembly was difficult, and I was never able to get the top block to fit properly. With my microwave on top it hides the fact that the top is not seated properly -- otherwise, I would have been very disappointed with the end result. I hope it lasts for a long time, because I would not go through the assembly process again.

        It is a nice looking unit, 2 of the dowels were short ,little screws pulled out in assembling and had to reconfigure not an easy assemble.

          I needed a trash bin that would get the trash out of my broom closet so that I had a place to keep my brooms and mops -- but one that 3 dogs couldn't get into in the middle of the night. It has been WONDERFUL. I put it together - LOTS of pieces, but pretty simple if you follow the directions. Almost everything is glued and pegged, so very sturdy. It looks nice, gave me a nice extra little butcher block counter space, a few extra (narrow) drawers, and the dogs don't even seem to know the trash is in it. The bin it holds is a nice size, big enough to keep you from having to empty it three times a day.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
